Silkience Silky-Smooth Conditioner Review

I came across this conditioner at my local Dollar Tree a few months ago, and since then we've been inseparable.

Ingredients: Water, Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Glyceryl Stearate SE, Glycerin, Cetrimonium Chloride, Stearalkonium Chloride, Panthenol, Aloe Barbadendis Leaf Juice, Hydrolyzed Soy Protein, Fragrance, Citric Acid, Methylchloroisothiazolinon, Methlisothiazolinone.

Claim: Naturally formulated with Aloe Vera & Soy Protein to leave hair soft & supple. Provides daily nourishment for your hair. Infused with ingredients to keep your hair healthy.

Directions: Apply a generous amount of Silkience Silky-Smooth Conditioner to damp hair, rinse thoroughly after 2-3 minutes. Can be used daily.

I've used this as a co-wash, rinse out, in my DC mix, as a leave-in/detangler, and as a styler.

PROS

  • Cleanses hair well
  • Leaves hair soft and manageable
  • Adds shine and moisture
  • Contains AMAZING ingredients
  • costs only $1 at Dollar Tree
  • Very light and creamy
  • Smells great
  • Great detangler
  • Non-flaky
  • Did I mention it was only a dollar?!

CONS

  • One bottle only lats me about 6 co-wash sessions and 1 DC session altogether

Final Verdict

I love this conditioner very much, it is probably the only store bought product I've ever used that I refer to as a staple. Also the matching shampoo works great too, but since I've cut out shampoo from my regimen, I don't use it anymore.
