What To Do When You Get Bored With Your Natural Hair

I haven't posted on here since last year, and I really missed writing, but between my laptop charger breaking (I can't find anywhere to buy a replacement charger, and all the ones I've bought do not fit), school, work and working out, it's just been hard finding time, but here I am :) .

When I reached my one year hair journey mark, I found myself getting bored with my hair and wanting to relax or do another big chop. I got a sew-in, but that didn't work at all, so I decided to get to know my hair. As silly as it sounds, it's been working out for me. I'm trying new hairstyles, and creating my own too, I get really bored doing twist outs, so now I actually try to wear my twists for a couple of days before untwisting them.

I also recently had my hair colored, for the first time in my life. I was a bit paranoid, but I don't regret it at all.  Also after buying and trying products here and there, I have a great regimen that has been working for me so far, and I will be sharing that very soon along with the different oils I've been experimenting with.

**Back on topic** lol

When you get bored with your hair simply do one or some of the following
1. Play around with your regimen
2. Incorporate new styles or products to your hair care routine
3. Get a haircut
4. Get a new color (Could be temporary or permanent, your choice)
5. Protective style
6. Wear wigs

Thanks for reading, I will definitely be posting soon, so stay tuned! :)

  2. Funny you mentioned changing hairstyles. I recently had a haircut this week. Nice low fro. Some made a big deal about it. My happiness is all that matters. I'm confident enough to cut it all off at a whim. Being that it's just hair I don't concern my self about length. It grows back so why not experiment. My hair doesn't define me...it never did!!!
